We, TECHKON GmbH, are the local website operator (Art. 13 (1) GDPR). We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.

When you visit our website, various personal data is collected. Personal data are data with which you can be personally identified. 

We collect, store and use the data relating to your person solely for the purpose and to the extent of enabling you to use the various features of our website.

This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website and is necessary to establish a connection with you. These data are collected on the basis of the legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) f. GDPR Data.

b. Use of the contact form 

Your data will also be collected by using our contact form. This data collection then takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR).

c. Newsletter

Our newsletter is sent on the basis of the recipient's consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) a, Art. 7 GDPR in conjunction with § 7 (2) No. 3 UWG or on the basis of the legal permission pursuant to § 7 (3) UWG. The registration procedure is recorded on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) f GDPR.

d. Passing on to third parties 

In all cases in which we transfer personal data to third parties (companies), we ask for your prior consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR).

e. Tracking tools

We do not use a cookie-based tracker based on our legitimate interest in analyzing and optimizing our online offer.

We store your data only for the necessary duration or in accordance with the legal requirements of Art. 17 and 18 GDPR. 

4. Right to information 

You have the right to receive information free of charge at any time about the origin, recipient and purpose of the personal data stored about you (Art. 13 (2) b GDPR). You also have the right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data (Art. 13 (2) b GDPR). Furthermore, you can revoke this consent at any time for information that is collected on the basis of your consent (Art. 13 (2) b GDPR). Finally, you have a right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority (Art. 13 (2) d GDPR).

5. Data portability 

You have the right to have data which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another person responsible, this will only take place if it is technically feasible (Art. 20 GDPR).

6. Cooperation with contract processors and third parties

If we 

  • disclose data to other persons and/or companies, e.g. contract processors or third parties,
  • transmit it to them, or 
  • otherwise grant them access to the data, 

this is done exclusively 

  • on the basis of a legal permit (e.g. if the data must be transmitted in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR in order to fulfill the contract),

  • on a legal obligation to do so, or 
  • on the basis of our legitimate interests (e.g. when using agents, web hosters, etc.).

If we commission third parties with the processing of data on the basis of a so-called "order processing contract", the data is transmitted on the basis of Art. 28 GDPR.

7. Protection of the data of visitors to the website

We use security measures such as HTTPS to protect your personal data. We regularly check our website for possible weak points. Despite these measures, we are unable to guarantee that data will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed as a result of our security breaches.

Various data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit our website. These are mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page visit). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website. Part of the data is collected in order to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data can be used to analyze your user behavior. We do not combine this data with personal data. The data remain for us technical data without personal reference.

2. Data when using the contact form

We offer visitors of our website, who want to contact us, the possibility to use our contact form. This requires the entry of personal data, such as first and last name, e-mail. These entries are not published and are only used for communication between us and you for the purpose of establishing contact or for the purpose of sending the requested information and for the purpose of sending further Information.

3. Newsletter 

To subscribe to our newsletter, you must give your consent to the transmission of the newsletter. Your e-mail address will not be passed on to third parties. Your e-mail address will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list as soon as you unsubscribe from the newsletter. 5. Vimeo

Our website uses plug-in of the video portal Vimeo. The provider is Vimeo Inc. 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

If you visit one of our pages equipped with a Vimeo plug-in, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. The Vimeo server will be informed which of our pages you have visited. Vimeo also obtains your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged in to Vimeo or do not have an account with Vimeo. The information collected by Vimeo is transferred to Vimeo servers in the USA.

If you are logged in to your Vimeo account, you allow Vimeo to associate your surfing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your Vimeo account.

III. Amendment of the Data Protection Directive 

Our website is also dynamic and we introduce new functions from time to time. Therefore, it may be necessary to collect new information. When we collect new personal information or make significant changes to the way we use your information, we will of course modify this Privacy Policy and notify you if necessary.
